font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;Foto retirada de &lt;a href="http://www.cavr.pt/pistas/vila%20real/images/VilaReal2009/html/16.htm"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;http://www.cavr.pt/pistas/vila%20real/images/VilaReal2009/html/16.htm&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Foi no passado fim-de-semana que o desporto automóvel se fez sentir, mais uma vez,  na cidade de Vila Real com o 42º Circuito Automóvel.&lt;br /&gt;Durante todo o fim-de-semana pode-se ouvir o barulho dos motores e sentir a adrenalina já característica deste circuito que contou com uma assistência de mais de 80 mil pessoas que viram os cerca de 150 pilotos a actuar.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;No Sábado, 1ºdia de corridas, realizaram-se apenas treinos livres e cronometrados que terminaram por volta das 18h30.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Domingo, dia 26, foi "o dia alto do circuito", onde actuaram os vários protagonistas do evento, com as provas CTGT - Cidade de Vila Real (H81), a Taça de Portugal de Circuitos (PTCC), Taça de Portugal de Clássicos e a segunda manga do Campeonato de Portugal de Resistência.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A prova CTGT - Cidade de Vila Real (H81) foi ganha por Rodrigo Gallego, com o Lola T292 da Team Bip. Ainda nesta prova  Manuel Neto  ficou em 2ºlugar com o Ford Escort e Luís Costa ficou em 3º com o Porsche 928.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Na Taça de Portugal de Clássicos, que se realizou a seguir, o vencedor foi Joaquim Jorge que, com o Ford Escort RS,  bateu António Nogueira e Pedro Fins, que ficaram em 2º e 3º lugares respectivamente.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Relativamente à Taça de Portugal de Circuitos (TPCC/PTCC), César Campaniço (BMW 320 SI) era o favorito ,uma vez que é o actual campeão em título mas, e apesar de vencer a primeira corrida do dia, o piloto viria a ser ultrapassado na segunda corrida por João Figueiredo (Peugeot 407) que necessitou de muito esforço e aplicação para conseguir conquistar o primeiro triunfo do ano, na última jornada do PTCC.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Para além das pessoas que assistiram e dos pilotos esta prova contou também com a participação de centenas de pessoas, a maior parte que participou voluntariamente na organização, e ainda com quatro corporações de bombeiros nomeadamente a Cruz Verde,  a Cruz Branca bem como bombeiros voluntários da Régua e de Sabrosa.&lt;br /&gt;Relativamente às duas corporações vila-realenses, e segundo " A Voz de Trás-os-Montes", estiveram presentes cerca de 250 bombeiros apoiados por quase meia centena de veículos.&lt;br /&gt;Esta organização contou ainda com a participação, no que diz respeito às forças de segurança , de cerca de 144 agentes da Polícia de Segurança Pública de Vila Real, Chaves, Viseu e Braga.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Assim terminou mais uma edição do Circuito de Vila Real, aguardando-se pela edição do próximo ano e contando também com uma prova internacional pontuável que se realizará caso se construam umas boxes "exclusivas" para este mesmo efeito. type='text'>As Corridas na actualidade</title><content type='html'>&lt;div align="justify"&gt;Quinze anos mais tarde, em 2007, surge o “40º Circuito Automóvel de Vila Real", que foi uma iniciativa apoiada pelo Centro Comercial Dolce Vita Douro e teve como principal objectivo homenagear o campeão transmontano, Manuel Fernandes, falecido em 2005, um dos mais conhecidos pilotos regionais que foi campeão nacional de velocidade por cinco vezes e ganhou várias provas em Vila Real, desde 1980 até 1991. Este regresso das corridas foi um sucesso e teve um investimento de 1 milhão e 200 mil euros. Contudo em Julho de 1991 o piloto Pedro Carvalho despistou-se na denominada “curva da Ford”, na zona da Araucária, provocando 4 mortos entre a assistência e ainda diversos ferimentos em alguns espectadores. Este acidente veio incitar a que se suspendesse as provas automobilísticas. Num total de 31 concorrentes 20 deles eram estrangeiros. Mas nem mesmo a chuva que se fez sentir nesse ano afastou o público das corridas e não estragou o espectáculo. Poucos se recordarão, mas a prova teve transmissão em directo pela RTP. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;Nos anos seguintes, devido à crise petrolífera e ao 25 de Abril de 1974, não houve corridas e durante algum tempo os motores deixaram de soar nas encostas do Marão e no Vale do Corgo retomando apenas seis anos mais tarde, em 1979. Contudo verificava-se que os anos de ouro das corridas já tinham passado uma vez que as provas nesse ano foram muito fracas. Em 66 apenas cinco concorrentes alinharam. Após oito anos de interrupção, as corridas regressavam ao grande circuito transmontano. No entanto, ainda não contariam para o Campeonato Nacional de Velocidade. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;Em 1969, o Circuito de Vila Real foi considerado como o melhor da Europa e contou com a participação de 28 automóveis da Fórmula II. Criou-se então uma prova intitulada de “6 horas de Vila Real” em que o vencedor que a ganhasse angariava 30 mil escudos. Margarida, passavam pela Capela de S. Lázaro, subiam a Rua dos Ferreiros, Cano e Rua da Barroca. Seguidamente, e depois de saírem deste troço, entravam a meio da Rua S. João e prosseguiam o trajecto habitual. Vasco Sameiro era o português favorito mas quem levaria a taça para casa seria Casimiro de Oliveira. Almeida Lucena, Entroncamento da Timpeira, Mateus, Estação do Caminho-de-ferro, Avenida Almeida Lucena, incluindo as Ruas Miguel Bombarda e Alexandre Herculano (esta rua seria substituída, a partir de 1933, pelas Ruas Cândido dos Reis e Boavista), perfazendo 7.150 metros, num total de vinte voltas, com 36 curvas cada, totalizando 143 km, num tempo máximo de três horas e meia. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="COLOR: rgb(0,0,0)"&gt;Em 1934 realizou-se a primeira “Prova de Velocidade para Motocicletas” e a 26 de Junho de 1936, após se verificar o sucesso nas quatro edições anteriores, e apesar de os acessos à cidade não serem ainda os melhores, a comissão organizadora decidiu internacionalizar o Circuito e o primeiro “Circuito Internacional de Vila Real” contou com a participação de dois corredores alemães e três ingleses. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5332770807236410258" style="WIDTH: 400px; Para criar o Circuito contou-se com a ajuda da Câmara Municipal de Vila Real, do Automóvel Clube de Portugal, da Comissão de Turismo da Serra do Marão, dos comerciantes, dos bilhetes, patrocinadores e também contribuições voluntárias.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5332755618521610738" style="width: 399px; height: 312px;" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_HHyIZd4Vv9E/SgHA-xvy-fI/AAAAAAAAAA4/CYh-L2DSI8Y/s400/clip_image002.gif" border="0" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;O dinheiro que se pagava nas bilheteiras para assistir às corridas também era uma forma de contribuir para ajudar nas despesas. Havia duas formas de pagar bilhete: uma delas era para quem estivesse na cidade para ver as corridas, e nesse caso, pagava o bilhete normal. Foi durante o 1º Congresso Transmontano, realizado de 7 a 16 de Dezembro, que se criou o 1º “Circuito de Trás-os-Montes” num percurso de 60 km que iria ter início em Vila Real e depois iria passar por Balsa e Sabrosa.&lt;br /&gt;Já em 1925 realizou-se o 2º “Circuito de Trás-os-Montes” e ficou decidido o novo trajecto que possuía 370 km e que passava por Chaves, Mirandela e Vila Real e que contou com um total de 11 participantes.&lt;br /&gt;Em 1926 e 1927, com o apoio de Aureliano Barrigas, realizaram-se diversos concursos de corridas de motos, também se realizaram gincanas e exposições de carros que tinham lugar no Campo do Grupo Desportivo de Salvação Pública.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HHyIZd4Vv9E/SgHCro_BPjI/AAAAAAAAABI/_38B8T7mvfo/s1600-h/clip_image001.gif"&gt;&lt;img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5332757488775282226" style="width: 400px; height: 250px;" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_HHyIZd4Vv9E/SgHCro_BPjI/AAAAAAAAABI/_38B8T7mvfo/s400/clip_image001.gif" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div align="center"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;Vila Real, 1926&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="center"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;Em 1930, as personalidades que trouxeram o desporto automóvel para Vila Real juntaram-se para criar um projecto mais ambicioso – o 1º Circuito de Vila Real. O seu fundador foi Aureliano de Almeida Barrigas, que teve o apoio do seu pai, Manuel Lopes Barrigas e de outras figuras como Luís Taboada que era o representante Ford, delegado do Automóvel Clube de Portugal e vereador da Câmara Municipal de Vila Real da altura, contou ainda com o apoio de representantes da Chevrolet, Fiat, Citroën e do Dr. Emídio Roque da Silveira, presidente da Câmara Municipal de Vila Real em 1930. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;É em 1931 que surge o tão esperado 1º Circuito de Vila Real, inserido nas festas da Cidade. As primeiras corridas no novo Circuito deram-se então a 15 de Junho de 1931. Como pessoa que se interessa pelo tema deste blog decidi juntar o útil ao agradável e falar sobre um tema que ainda não tinha sido falado assim tão aprofundadamente.&lt;br /&gt;Espero que gostem do blog e claro estou sempre disposta a ouvir as opiniões daqueles que por aqui passarem.
